My new shelter Dog and some Skin So Soft

Daisey Mae

5 days ago, I rescued an older female German Shepherd mix - just days from being killed.  She is 8 years old.  We just kept her "shelter" name since she already was answering to it and I just didn't want to impose any more on her than I had to.  Bless her heart,  she had been a stray. We noticed that when she got wet from the rain, she would smell slightly of skunk. I read where if it is not treated immediately it could take 2 years to get rid of. It's not that bad, but I do need to treat her with some Avon's Skin So Soft.

Not only that, she was loaded with fleas. I treated her with a preventative flea treatment but she still has a few and bite marks on her dry skin. I plan to get her down, and lavish her with the Skin so Soft to snuff out any lingering fleas and ticks.
