First Moon Landing - and I was there!
Well not, there-on-the-moon-there. I was sitting in my living room with my parents and my boyfriend. Honestly, I didn't think it would be all that big of a thrill. I only wanted to go, and make out with my boyfriend.
I'm not too cool to admit, I cried. Watching it, I knew this was historic and special. I believe I enjoyed watching my Mom and Dad the most. They were amazed, never believing they would ever see anything like this in their life time. Totally blows me away, that it's been 43 years. I sure don't feel that old!
I feel blessed to have been able to live during these times. Just the excitement of it all. I'd have to think long and hard, if anything since then, has excited me as much.
