Some fall crafting

I did a little crafting yesterday. Painted these old blue water goblets I bought at Dollar Tree years ago with white chalk paint. Turned them upside down. Hot glued some Spanish moss on top from DT, the ceramic DT pumpkins (I embellished them a little by dry brushing the creases), and used old sunflowers from an old decorated basket that I was tired of.

Only really cost me $2.00 since I already have the paint, the goblets, the sunflowers, and the Spanish moss, and a lot more left.

I also can't wait to start decorating outside. No one on my block has started decorating and I am chomping at the bit...

  1. Hi Debby! :) I love what you did with the dollar tree goblets! I'm always looking for frugal ideas to decorate! I'm starting some Halloween paper mache crafts this week!

  3. Nice. I managed to take the spring/summer flower arrangements out of the foyer. Guess I could try to get some fall stuff out today. You have encouraged me.

    1. That's how it works. I was inspired by some you-tube videos and it got me all excited. LOL. Keep wondering when I will peter out.

  4. I'm not crafty, but I do have unused drinking glasses. Perhaps I should look up what else to do with them besides donate to Goodwill. I'm also waiting a couple of more weeks before putting out my two scarecrows. Still not quite ready. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

    1. Hi Alana,

Before I donate I try and see what I can creatively do with the items. If not, I donate. Usually AFTER I donate, I come up with something and then its too late.
