Blue Skies

The gardeners trimmed, hacked, and hauled out much of the garden debris.

The husband hired them to come weekly for a while -

paying them out of his account. $160 a month.

I think that is a lot but if he wants to pay for that, then so be it.

He can now spend more time, with the tent trailer.

The first time we've been able to see Mt Shasta since June.

It even got a dusting of snow after the rains on Saturday.

Just look at those blue skies.

Mt Shasta with some snow - a sure sign that Fall is on its way.

Today is 96 degrees. Not cool enough for me to haul out the Fall stuff just yet. The AC is still kicking on during the afternoon. It is cooler at night and in the morning and with the improved air quality,

I'm able to open my windows to air the house out.

  1. You have such lovely views from your window. Beautiful mountain bathed in sunshine.

    God bless.

  2. Temp's should be dropping soon? Hope so. I know y'all are sick of the heat and smoke. Our temp's are getting better every day (SE Georgia). It's been really nice outside except for the mosquitos with all the rain we've had this year. Gotta take the good with the bad, though. If it'll ever get dry enough, I'm going to mow. We have about 6 acres open and it's looking like a jungle. The ground is too squishy right now for that heavy zero turning radius I use. Not complaining. Beat's the stew outta having a drought, right?! *wink*
    Blessings. xx

  3. It's cooled down here but I haven't hauled my Fall stuff out just yet! I'm always in denial for a few more weeks! Although I'm loving the cooler weather I hate seeing summer end!

  4. Glorious Mt. Shasta. It's so pretty with snow on it. That's how I'm used to seeing it. ; )
