Positive

 Our backyard finches

The tests came back positive for Covid.

The husband didn’t get it that bad - me on the other hand have been slammed. Worse than any flu I’ve had. Seems I am on a roller coaster.  I think the reason I’m having a hard time is my low blood pressure. I’m dizzy, nauseous basically feel like garbage.  I wonder if the 3 surgeries weakened my immunity. You figure I had the 2 cataract surgeries and then then rotator cuff. I’m beat!

So far I’ve lost 8 lbs in 1 week. I’m trying to eat but nothing tastes good. I make myself eat every 3 hours.

I’m too weak to walk - almost passed out this morning. I keep hoping the next day will be the
beginning of feeling good again.

Everyone I know who got this said it was like a cold - well not for me! We’re all different.

  2. When I had it in spring of 2019, they didn't even know what it was. I was brutely ill for nearly 3 weeks. I was begging for someone to simply kill me. ANYWAYS, I'm in a test program and get tested every 4 months for antibodies, and guess what? I still have antibodies. The dr. states it might be because of my blood type, which they are finding out does have something to do with it. ANYWAYS---Keeping you in prayer. Drink Pedialight or Gatoraid.

  3. My step-mom from the hills of Kentucky used to quip: if it's not one thing it's two others.
    True, that.
    Get well soon.
    Blessings. xx

  4. I bet that you're spot on about your immune system working overtime to recover from all of the other issues. Hope you're on the road to recovery soon.

  6. Oh no. I have heard varying stories about how bad it can be. My younger neighbours next door got Covid and one of them is still home recuperating. I hope you begin to feel better very soon.

    God bless.

  7. I'm sure the 3 surgeries didn't help your immune system! And it's such a crazy bug in the way it affects people so differently.
I had covid last Spring and also had no appetite or desire to eat. I finally was prescribed an anti-nausea med and it did help.
    Praying for you!

  8. It does sound like your immune system took a hit. So sorry you are so sick. Praying you feel better soon. I think the worst is the long term fatigue that follows. AND-that is a heck of a way to lose weight! Not good! xo Diana

  9. Oh no, that doesn't sound good at all. I hope you recovery quickly, but if things are that rough, don't hesitate to head to the hospital for more care.

  12. I hope you are feeling better soon. It's amazing how one person can be knocked down by Covid while another only has mild symptoms. I hope you have a good weekend. xo Diana

  13. I'm so sorry to hear your husband got the virus also, Debby. I'm just catching up on your posts this morning. Yes, I'm sure having the surgeries may have weakened the immune system. I hope you are feeling better as I'm writing this. Take care,
