Chipped Beef on biscuits

Oh how I wish I had blogged this first - but am so glad this gal did because it sure has conjoured up memories and my taste buds. Comfort Food at it's best.


  • 5 oz dried beef (In our stores, it's sold in a glass jar near the tuna)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup white flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • salt & pepper to taste (I don't typically add salt because the beef is quite salty already)
