To each his own

We've all seen those gaudy Christmas outdoor displays.
You can find at least one in every neighborhood.

I told my husband if I should ever break down and want to buy a blowup Santa or any inflatable lawn ornament -  to just shoot me.

Then there is How to use your empty beer cans.

I have an outdoor nativity that I have had since the late 70's.
Some might think it is tacky -

I call it Vintage. You can't buy that particular set anymore and definitely NOT with the *cat!

*cat - Kitty Koo is no longer with us. He was a character and a half and we still miss him to this day. RIP Mr. Kitty Koo aka The Big Kahuna.

  1. Hi I'm new to your blog. I found you through Diana's blog.. Oh my goodness those blow up ornaments!.. I have seen them on a few lawns here in my town and I'm sorry because I know some really like them I think they are just ...GAUDY..LOL I would love to own a 1970's nativity set :) Looking forward to reading more of your posts :)

    1. Nice to meet you Robyn.

I believe those inflatable lawn ornaments are here to stay.

  2. My brother has three blow up Christmas things on his front lawn so not over done can't see the point in going overboard
