A Quiet Day

Oh, what a beautiful day - COLD but clear and sunny.

A stiff frigid wind blows over the mountains into the valley.  Brrrr.

A good day for cookies.

The house was nice and quiet - just me, Laydee, and Susie.

Did some laundry.

Watched some of my crafting videos.

Other than that, nothing exciting.

Talk soon.

  2. Well, the cookies sure look delicious and invited. I baked some banana nut bread yesterday and made some peanut butter oatmeal bars, a no-bake recipe that isn't too bad. I may have to share the recipe later. Glad you had a nice quiet and peaceful day. I like days like that once in a while.

    1. I relish in quiet - whereas my husband likes to be out and about. I never get bored being quiet and by myself.

  3. Dearest Debby,
Those crisp days with blue skies are lovely!
Good for working as you have enough light to see whatever you are doing.
Baking cookies is a good idea.
As for the beautiful net darned table topper you show with the cookies—that must be a family heirloom.
    Hugs,
    Mariette

    1. You have a good eye. Yes, the tablecloth is a family heirloom - about 100 years old.

    1. I know. And with all the fancy cookies there are, my favorite is the good old tollhouse chocolate chip cookie.
