Oh, what a beautiful day - COLD but clear and sunny.
A stiff frigid wind blows over the mountains into the valley. Brrrr.
A good day for cookies.
The house was nice and quiet - just me, Laydee, and Susie.
Did some laundry.
Watched some of my crafting videos.
Other than that, nothing exciting.
Talk soon.
Debby
Your header is gorgeous! And I can almost smell those cookies...
ReplyDeleteI made them big and they were good.
DeleteWell, the cookies sure look delicious and invited. I baked some banana nut bread yesterday and made some peanut butter oatmeal bars, a no-bake recipe that isn't too bad. I may have to share the recipe later. Glad you had a nice quiet and peaceful day. I like days like that once in a while.
ReplyDeleteI relish in quiet - whereas my husband likes to be out and about. I never get bored being quiet and by myself.
DeleteDearest Debby,
ReplyDeleteThose crisp days with blue skies are lovely!
Good for working as you have enough light to see whatever you are doing.
Baking cookies is a good idea.
As for the beautiful net darned table topper you show with the cookies—that must be a family heirloom.
Hugs,
Mariette
You have a good eye. Yes, the tablecloth is a family heirloom - about 100 years old.
DeleteThank you but I just got some knowledge about the different varieties of lace... What a treasure to have!
DeleteCookies. YUM!!! Janice
ReplyDeleteI know. And with all the fancy cookies there are, my favorite is the good old tollhouse chocolate chip cookie.
DeleteI bet those cookies taste wonderful. I sometimes wish for a quieter day...Hubby seems to always be around lately.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Yes they are very good. I made them really big where one is just enough.
DeleteSounds like a fine day. I'd sure like to see some sunshine around here. I love cold days with sun and blue skies.
ReplyDeleteI'd love a cookie about now. :)
Sunshine makes all the difference.
DeleteQuiet days are some of the best days. Your cookies look Yummy. Oh, and I like your new blog design - it's a nice change for the new year.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week ahead, Debby.
