A new toy

This is from a new app I found, called Waterlogue.

Watercolors have always been a favorite of mine.

I took this one this morning on my walk -

a tree down the street from me -

Just a few of my past sunflower photos -

I'm thinking about blowing them up and framing them.

It may take me a few posts to work this out of my system.

The husband is at the lake, swimming with Laydee. Since she has been consistently swimming, she is looking good - we're hoping she has lost a few pounds to take the pressure off her joints. We'll know on Sept 20.

Husband is working on the other side of the patio - scraping and patching and then he will paint the wood. He does it early in the morning. This morning was 73.

We're enjoying some cooler temps - only 100 degrees today.

Believe me, there is a difference!

I'm doing laundry - folding clothes, sanding a craft project, and thinking about what to have for dinner. A neighbor gave us a lobster - I don't eat shellfish so I'm thinking the husband can have the lobster for dinner tonight -

  1. I like that watercolor app! Those would look cool blown up and printed.
I just got done folding laundry. Even with just the two of us, it seems the laundry never ends. :)

  2. The app certainly takes your photos to another level. I assume you control the colors. I'm so un-artistic, I can't even figure out more than cropping photos. :p

  3. The sunflower photos look amazing with this watercolor app! I think you should make a collage out of them and hang it.

  4. Lobster! Oh, I love it, and dipped in butter, even better. Those are cool photos that you are working on. Yes, you should frame one for your house. Sounds like your husband is doing a lot of work outside. It will look nice when it's finished. I always feel better when I look and see all the work I did outside. Stay cool this week. In the 90's this week here.

  6. OH, those "watercolor photos" are great!! What a neat idea! They would be lovely in a frame for sure! Oh, Lobster? Messy, but so good. The only thing is you have to work so hard to get the meat out...like crab legs. I hope your cooler weather hangs around long enough to finish your projects. We are getting a lot of rain all of a sudden, which is great. The pond is filling back up. Still hot and muggy, but thankfully the dry spell has broken. Take care and stay cool!!
