Taking a SHORT Break

One of my past cats - Mr. Kitty Koo. I sure do miss him.
A Maine Coon - he was huge and he was talkative. A real character; then again, aren't most cats?

If you tried to read my post from yesterday - and the photos were not showing up...I don't know what the heck was going on. So I just deleted it. Blogger is messing with me again. It's frustrating.

All is well here - The husband and I are feeling much better - we still get a little fatigued in the evening. I think we might have had a mild COVID simply because we were not able to taste anything and I still can't. I made some cookies yesterday and both my husband and I couldn't even smell them baking. Any birthday celebration will wait till I can taste food again. Just a waste of money, otherwise.

This week will find me getting back into the swing of life again.

Taking a short break

AtoZChallenge theme reveal 2024 #atozchallenge

I won't be around too much posting this month of March here on this blog.  I will be at my other blog, getting the April posts written and set up for the A-Z Challenge. I am going through something - here on this blog. I'm bored. I'm bored writing the same old stuff so I need to just re-group within myself and work on a project. (the other blog) Heck, I bore myself when I am writing lately. I guess I need a short break and after the A-Z; get into a home improvement project.

I'll still be reading your blogs - just not posting here for a week or so.

Take Care

Debby

  1. Debby, I do hope you come back soon. Your blog has always been delightful to me. But I do understand...sometimes we just need to take a break and we come back refreshed and ready to go. You always share interesting things on your posts. I think our blog friends just like to read about the everyday happenings and pictures of the home. I used to love a blog called Daisy Cottage, and it was mostly about her home. So, your blog friends don't expect anything fancy, just love to hear what's going on in your world. Take care, and I hope you're back soon.

    1. Sheri, you're such a sweetie. I understand that. It's only a short break so I can load up some April posts on my Genealogy blog. The sooner I do that, the sooner I will be back.

  7. Well, I hope you are on the mend now. I had no idea you write two blogs. What is the other one about. I too am finding it a bit tough to come up with interesting content for winter. Enjoy.

I used to belong to a group called ABC Wednesday for years. It was a lot of fun so I maybe would be interested in your ABC group. Its a wonderful way to have new eyes on the world around us.

  10. We all need a break at times, and not being able to smell or taste would suck
